It’s Good Friday today, and do you know why it’s Good Friday? Today we remember the good gift God gave us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, chastised for our peace, and by his stripes we are healed. God laid the iniquity of us all upon Him. He was oppressed and afflicted, led like a lamb to the slaughter. He was cut off, stricken, and killed for the transgressions of the world.
